Scholarships available to Year 7 Students


John and Maud Askew Secondary Scholarships for Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 students


Scholarship details
  • Managed by Equity Trustees
  • Valued at $1,500 each
  • Available for one year
  • Multiple scholarships will be awarded in 2026

Who can apply?
  • Students who complete Year 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 in 2025 in a registered Victorian government school
  • Students involved in school and community activities
  • Families or students who demonstrate financial need

What information you need to include with your application
  • Applicant's 2025 end-of-year school results (Step 2 of online application form)
  • Statements written by the applicant confirming their involvement in school and community activities. This section must be completed by the student (Step 3 of the online application form)
  • Evidence of the applicant's parent/carer receiving Centrelink income support benefits and holding a valid Health Care Card (for those students under the age of 16 years) or a Low Income Health Care Card or a Pensioner Concession Card, or the applicant receiving the Youth Allowance (Step 4 of the online application form - Centrelink Reference Number required)
