Scholarships available to Year 6 Students

Scholarships ranging in value from $300 to $1,000 are available to support current Year 6 students who will be attending secondary school next year. Applicants are encouraged to apply for as many scholarships that they may be eligible for.


George Wilson Robertson Scholarships for Year 6 students


Scholarship details
  • Funded by the Euphemia Ann Robertson Estate, managed by Equity Trustees
  • Valued at up to $1,500 per scholarship over two years, which will be paid as a lump sum
  • Multiple scholarships may be awarded, subject to confirmation from Equity Trustees

Who can apply?
  • Students completing Year 6 in 2024 in a registered Victorian government school and who will be undertaking Year 7 and 8 (consecutively) in the following two years (2025 and 2026) in a registered Victorian government school
  • Students involved in school and community activities
  • Families or students who demonstrate financial need

What to include with your application
  • Applicant's 2024 end-of-year academic results (Step 2 of the online application form)
  • Statements confirming the applicant’s involvement in school and community activities (Step 3 of the online application form)
  • Evidence of the applicant's parent/carer holding a current Health Care Card, a Low Income Health Care Card or a Pensioner Concession Card, or the applicant receiving the Youth Allowance (Step 4 of the online application form - Centrelink Reference Number required)

John and Maud Askew Primary Scholarships for Years 4, 5 and 6 students


Scholarship details
  • Managed by Equity Trustees
  • Valued at $750 (Year 4 and 5) and $1,500 (Year 6)
  • Available for one year
  • Multiple scholarships are available, which will be awarded in 2024

Who can apply?
  • Students who complete Year 4, 5 or 6 in 2024 in a registered Victorian government school
  • Students involved in school and community activities
  • Families or students who demonstrate financial need

What information to include with your application
  • Applicant's 2024 end-of-year academic results (Step 2 of the online application form)
  • Statements written by the applicant confirming their involvement in school and community activities. This section must be completed by the student (Step 3 of the online application form)
  • Evidence of the applicant's parent/carer receiving Centrelink benefits and the parent/carer holding either a valid Health Care Card, a valid Low Income Health Care Card or a valid Pensioner Concession Card (Step 4 of the online application form: Centrelink Reference Number required)
