Scholarships available to Year 6 Students

Scholarships ranging in value from $300 to $1,000 are available to support current Year 6 students who will be attending secondary school next year. Applicants are encouraged to apply for as many scholarships that they may be eligible for.


George Wilson Robertson Scholarships for Year 6 students


Scholarship details
  • Funded by the Euphemia Ann Robertson Estate, managed by Equity Trustees
  • Valued at up to $1,500 per scholarship over two years, which will be paid as a lump sum
  • Up to three scholarships may be awarded, subject to confirmation from Equity Trustees

Who can apply?
  • Students who are completing Year 6 in 2021 in a registered Victorian government school and who will be completing Year 7 and 8 (consecutively) in the following two years (2022 and 2023) in a registered Victorian government school
  • Students involved in school and community activities
  • Families or students who demonstrate financial need

What documentation you need to provide?
  • Applicant's 2021 end-of-year academic results
  • Statements confirming the applicant’s involvement in school and community activities
  • Evidence of the applicant's parent/guardian holding a valid health care card (for those students under the age of 16 years) and holding either a valid Health Care Card, a Low Income Health Care Card or a Pensioner Concession Card, or the applicant receiving the Youth Allowance (Centrelink Reference Number required)

NOTE: Students with limited access to face-to-face school and community activities due to COVID-safe settings should include details of previous involvement in school and community activities, or school and community activities undertaken via online or virtual platforms such as Zoom

Graham Davidson Scholarship for year 6 students


Scholarship details
  • Sponsored by the Police Association
  • Valued at $800
  • Available for one year
  • One scholarship awarded each year

Who can apply?
  • Students completing Year 6 in 2021 in a registered Victorian school
  • Only students with a parent/guardian who is a member of the Victorian police force, a retired member or a police widow are eligible
  • Students involved in school and community activities

What documentation you need to provide?
  • Applicant's 2021 end-of-year academic results
  • Evidence that the parent/guardian is a member of the Victorian police force, a retired member or a police widow - member details required
  • Statements confirming the applicant’s involvement in school and community activities.
    NOTE: Students with limited access to face-to-face school and community activities due to COVID-safe settings should include details of previous involvement in school and community activities, or school and community activities undertaken via online or virtual platforms such as Zoom

John and Maud Askew Primary Scholarships for Years 4, 5 and 6 students


Scholarship details
  • Sponsored by Equity Trustees
  • Valued at $500 (Year 4 and 5) and $1,000 (Year 6)
  • Available for one year
  • Multiple scholarships are available for students enrolled in Year 4, 5 or 6, which will be awarded in 2022

Who can apply?
  • Students completing Year 4, 5 or 6 in 2021 in a registered Victorian government school
  • Students involved in school and community activities
  • Families or students who demonstrate financial need

What documentation you need to provide?
  • Applicant's 2021 end-of-year academic results
  • Statements written by the applicant confirming their involvement in school and community activities. This section must be completed by the student.
  • Evidence of the applicant's parent/carer receiving Centrelink benefits and the parent/carer holding either a valid Health Care Card, a valid Low Income Health Care Card or a valid Pensioner Concession Card - Centrelink Reference Number required
