| The Global Classroom Project is a training program provided by DE&T to enhance the professional development of Teachers across Victoria. |

DE&T respects your right to privacy DE&T respects any personal information you provide as part of your enrolment in this program, and has taken steps to ensure that it is kept safe and secure. |

What personal information is collected? At various stages in the program you may be asked to provide personal details such as your name, contact details and school. In order to establish or verify your project you may be asked for additional information. |

How is the information collected? When you first apply to join the Global Classroom Project, you will submit an Application that provides some personal information such as your name, contact details and school. |
| If your application is accepted, your project may be subject to an assessment interview. You may be required to provide some additional information about yourself and your school when you arrange for an assessment interview. |
| You also have the opportunity to provide feedback the on your experience of the Global Classroom . This information may be reviewed by DE&T and may be passed on for statistical and research purposes. |

What happens to the information that is collected? The information that is collected is generally only used for the purposes of providing you with an educational service. |
| Personal information that is collected is password protected. Access to this information is only available to the project officers involved in the project. |

How do I know the information is correct? DE&T will do everything it can to ensure that the information held about you is up to date and correct. You can assist in this by providing correct information and notifying them when any of your personal details change. |

What happens if I don’t provide my personal details? You can choose not to provide your personal details, but then it may not be possible to provide you with all the services of the Project. |

Use of Cookies Cookies are small text files, which are generated by our servers and stored onto your computer. They allow us to recognise when you return to certain sites and allow us to register user preferences. This site http://www.sofweb.vic.edu.au/gc does not involve the use of cookies. |
