Ciao Thomas,

Allora vieni in Italia per sei mesi di studio: che fantastico! Le città che hai scelto sono molto belle: Torino, Bologna, Napoli, Palermo e certo Roma. Devi venire a trovarmi qui a Roma!

Ma attento, il tempo in Italia non è come in Australia. A febbraio fa molto freddo a Torino, e nevica. A marzo fa freddo e piove a Bologna. Maggio è bello qui a Roma, c'è sole, ma tira vento. Fa bel tempo a Napoli a giugno, anzi fa caldo. A luglio fa molto caldo a Palermo, ma puoi andare al mare!

La settimana prossima ti invio alcune infomazioni sulle città che visiterai.

Hi Thomas,

So you're coming to study in Italy for six months: that's fantastic! You've chosen some lovely cities to visit: Turin, Bologna, Naples, Palermo and Rome, naturally. You have to visit me when you're here in Rome!

But be careful, the weather in Italy is different to Australia. In February it's very cold and it snows in Turin. In March it's cold and rainy in Bologna. May is a good time here in Rome, it's sunny but windy. Naples has good weather in June, in fact it's hot. It's very hot in Palermo in July, but you can go to the beach!

Next week I'll send you some information about the cities that you're going to visit.
