In Germany, people often use the international 24 hour clock, especially if the time being said could be either in the morning or at night. All transport timetables use the 24 hour clock and so do all digital clocks and watches. 1.00am - 12 midday stay the same, then, 13.00 = 1.00pm 14.00 = 200pm 15.00 = 3.00pm 16.00 = 400pm 17.00 = 500pm 18.00 = 6.00pm 19.00 = 7.00pm 20.00 = 8.00pm 21.00 = 9.00pm 22.00 = 10.00pm 23.00 = 11.00pm 24.00 = 12.00pm If you had to catch a train at 8 o'clock at night, what would the time be using a 24 hour clock? _______________ |
