Teaching and learning of the knowledge, skills and behaviours from the Communication domain has been integrated into this LOTE program. The teacher is expecting the students to demonstrate effective presentation skills as well as skills and knowledge in French.
Students had researched and noted interesting information about a famous French person. Their task is to present this information orally in a creative and appealing manner to the rest of the class. They can use prepared notes. Their presentation must include a range of visual aids
After the presentations, the class participates in a discussion about the effective presentation techniques and strategies that they noted.
In assessing this task, two rubrics will be used: a teacher-assessed rubric and a student self-assessment. The rubric presented here is the student self-assessment
