Offer of employment
Public Service Staff
An offer of employment will be prepared by Corporate HR Services for the preferred applicant for Corporate positions and by the base school principal for the preferred applicant for Student Support Services Officer positions. The offer of employment will include:
- period of employment;
- time fraction of the job;
- (for a fixed term staff member) the reason for their fixed term employment;
- commencement salary;
- any probationary period;
- terms and conditions of employment;
- (where appropriate) agreement to pay relocation expenses;
- advice that the offer is subject to the Department's pre-employment requirements being met
The manager is required to determine the usual place or places of work for the employee preceding the offer of employment. The offer of employment must be accepted by the successful applicant prior to commencement of employment.
