Health, Safety & WorkCover

The Department is committed to ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of its employees, students and visitors through the provision of safe schools and workplaces. 

The Employee Health Unit (EHU) has primary responsibility for the development of OHS and WorkCover policy and strategy for the Department. This includes the provision of general advisory support to schools and other workplaces in managing Health & Safety, WorkCover & Rehabilitation.
