Voiceover: Alison’s class, in an earlier lesson, had assembled a list of key vocabulary about rainforests. In this scenario, she has the students use the words in sentences and to suggest synonyms for them.
Teacher: What we’re going to do today is to have a little bit of a deeper look at those words. Were going to put our words into a sentence, we’re going to use them, okay?
Teacher: We’re also going to look at some synonyms for these words as well, so words that are similar. So what I’m going to start off doing first is we’re going to go through a few of these words and put them in a sentence.
Student: The temperature in rainforests is usually warm.
Student: A habitat is where an animal lives.
Student: There are many undiscovered species in the rainforest.
